Costs
Training, lodging, and lunches are provided free of charge. Travel and other meals will need to be covered by the participant. Note: You may be able to use IGAP funds to cover travel costs.

As noted above, you will receive a free water sampling and testing field kit at your training. This kit will provide you with all the basic equipment and test kits you will need to sample and test water quality.

Some of the tests in the kit, however, will run out as you use them. You will then need to purchase refills for these tests when they run out.

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to use to help you order refills for your water sampling/testing field kit.

Step 1
See how many times you use the test each month, or how fast you use each the supplies up.

Step 2
Figure out when you will run out. For example, if you got your kit 6 months ago and you have one-half of the bottle left, you will run out in 6 months. Or if you use up one packet each month and you have 10 left you will run out in 10 months.

Step 3
Order all of the supplies that you will run out of in the next 6 months (or however much time you figured out in step 2). Allow an extra 2-4 weeks time for delivery.
